Some careers people study for, and then there are some who happen into a passion; this passion drives them into places and experiences that they themselves could never imagine.

Gillian Rooks is one of these people.

Photography found her, nature enraptured her, then birds took her into a love affair with wildlife photography. While walking in nature she discovered a love for birds…but mostly birds in flight.

Coming from a background in videography,  photography one day caught her attention. Starting small with a phone, then investing in a starter camera with kit lens she found, after some time, wanting more.

Some years later and better gear, she has been recognized as a wildlife photographer being published and is now turning her love into a small business. She absolutely adores birds and all nature.
